The series of the Imperial Palace of China postage cards is a kind of quality work exploited in a joint effort of China Post and the Palace Museum with the rich resource of historic relics in the Palace Museum. It is appraised as Museum on Paper. Postcards of China Imperial Palace” won the award of the best stamps set and Special award of the Judge committee in the First Stamped Postcard Contest by China Post in 2003, and also a first prize in China Element Design Contests. It was offered to Brazilian President Mr. Lula as a gift. 

The Postcards of China Imperial Palace were attached with a special stamp of Corner Tower of Palace Museum, with a completed set of 10 booklets and 102 postcards in total. The postcards have been launch with a limited edition of 50,000 sets.
